1873 "A SKETCH IN BORNEO by F REGAMEY". A fine large original antique print published for The Illustrated London News January 4th, 1873. Frederic Regamey (1849-1925) - Regamey was a French artist, illustrator, engraver and lithographer. Studied under Horace Lecoq de Boisbaudran. In 1873, he founded a weekly magazine Paris Etching introduces the process of chromolithography. In 1885 he founded the Illustré quotidien.

Overall size including margins approx 56cm x 40cm. Condition is very fine with central fold, as issued. There are a few pin holes along the central fold.
