A pre-railway 2-part pair of folding hand-coloured maps showing England, Wales & Scotland at a scale of an inch to 20 statue miles and Scotland at a reduced scale, showing Mail Roads, Turnpikes, Canals, Rivers, distances from London, seats in Parliament etc. Each map is made up of 21 sheets 4 x 6.5 inches mounted on linen & the titles are printed on the maps on pink sheet titles with engravings of St Paul's Cathedral (Southern Part) and Edinburgh Castle (Northern Part).

In green Morocco folder with closing lapel. The folder is somewhat fragile with some loss and splitting.

Maps in excellent condition and some light age toning.
