Dissected into 16 sections & land to linen. Size 72 by 53 cm. Original outline Hand-colour. With two decorative cartouches one containing the title the other the dedication to the Duke of Grafton. A map that manages to combine a wealth of local detail with decoration. A key provides information on mills churches schools abbeys rectories and vicarages market days distances between towns etc. Various panels of text around the margins of the map give information of the main towns commerce agriculture etc.

Condition is generally good with one small splot spot to the linen.
