A stunning and spectacular very large antique print from a drawing by John Dower published in 1851 as a suppliment to The Illustrated London news - the weekly newspaper. This example has been expertly hand coloured. Showing vignettes including COLNEY HATCH, BEACONSFIELD, WANSTEAD, WALTHAM ABBEY, GREENWICH, EPSOM RACE COURSE, CHOBHAM COMMON, CHINGFORD CHURCH etc.
Overall size of map is 80cm x 57cm with large margins.
CONDITION: These panoramic prints were bound in and folded in several places in order to fit within the newspaper size. So they always comes with the numerous folds in the paper.

This example is in excellent condition. There is an outer margin repair to the very top left corned.
