James Wyld's 'Plan of London and Westminster, with the Borough of Southwark...', published in London, 1830. An attractive and large detailed plan of London with the principle roads, canals, parks, Thames and City of London highlighted with hand colouring, divided into squares and numbered for reference. A large 'alphabetical list of the principal streets, places, courts, squares, markets, public buildings, &c. &c. With references to the letters and cross lines upon the plan' and a Statistical table at foot.
We cannot find any reference to this map in Howgego and believe it to be extremely rare.
Size approximately 106cm x 75cm, dissected and laid onto two linen sheets.
Condition is generally fine with some expected splits in some of the linen joins.
