A reduced version of the slightly earlier 9-sheet wall map issued by John Evans’ father, also called John Evans, who had died in 1795. This edition has a vignette view of Conway Castle in the lower left corner, and indicates five proposed roads, three in the Montgomery area and two covering most of the route from Ruthin to Bangor. Dissected into 20 sections and laid to linen.

Overall size approximately 75cm x 64cm.

Condition is excellent with original hand colour wash.
