1770 "Prospectus Ecclesiae Sancti Carlini ad quatuor fontes Romae - L'Eglise de St. Carlin aux quatre fontaines a Rome". 

It illustrates the famous Roman Baroque church of San Carlo alle Quattro Fontane (often called San Carlino), designed by the architect Francesco Borromini. These engravings were specifically designed to be viewed through an optical viewing device or zoetrope with a convex lens to create a strong illusion of three-dimensional depth.

Condition is excellent. Overall size approx 43.5 x 30cm
