1749 "PLAN DE JEDO". Highly detailed antique map of Tokyo, with key in the title locating major places, published by Jacques Nicolas Bellin in Paris in 1749.

This is one of the earliest European maps of Tokyo that a collector can hope to obtain. The Palace of the Emperor, at the centre of the map, is labeled. 

Overall size approx 28cm x 28cm including margins. Excellent condition.
