1955 "DUBLIN HORSE SHOW" An original linen backed lithograph printed poster for AER LINGUS designed by Olive Whitmore & printed by Alex. Thom & Co, Dublin. 

Olive Whitmore was an artist who produced designs for the Dublin Horse Show, particularly between 1928 and 1961. Her works, often featuring equestrian themes, are primarily seen as prints and multiples, including posters for the horse show.  Her designs are often described as simple and straightforward, with some illustrations being variations on a theme or colouir palette. 

The overall size of this poster with the linen backing approx 101.5 x 62cm. Condition is generally good. There are some tone spots on the upper right side and a couple of pin holes on the lower right side. A rare travel poster.
