1648 "MONTGOMERIA Comitatus et Comitatus MERVINIA" - A fine original antique map of Montgomeryshire, Wales by Johannes Blaeu. This map covers the mid Wales area of Merionethshire and Montgomeryshire. It has an elaborate title cartouche with figures, horse and oxen; the distance scale is also elaborately decorated with a gentleman and putti; three coats of arms include that of Lord Herbert of Montgomery.

Size approximately 56cm x 44cm including margins.
